Be Aware of Employment Scams
Employment scams are on the rise. Malicious actors use fake job opportunities to trick individuals into making financial payments or sharing sensitive personal information.
Scammers pose as recruiters from legitimate companies and message individuals asking for information or directing them to a fake website to collect it. Additionally, fake jobs are posted, and fake job offers are sent, even when someone has not applied for a position. Often job links are similar to actual company links and the false recruiter may list themselves as an employee of the real company on LinkedIn. Alternately, malicious actors also contact employers directly posing as a candidate being contacted about a false job offer, for this reason Sabre is unable to respond to unsolicited external messages related to this type of activity.
To make sure you don’t fall victim to these scams, please know if someone is legitimately with Sabre Systems:
🚫They will never request a payment of any sort related to a job opportunity.
🚫They will never extend a job offer prior to an application and interview.
🚫They will never send a check for you to purchase equipment.
We encourage you to be protective of your personal information. If you are sent links to apply for positions, we recommend visiting company websites directly to apply rather than using link sent. As always, be cautious and remember if something feels off, it likely is.
